Now, updating content is as easy as browsing the Web. Users simply navigate to the content they want, click a button and make the change. One more click publishes the content. No training is required, no technical expertise is needed.

The Arpeggio Web Worx Core CMS Module provides the basis for the entire Arpeggio suite. Site navigation, content management, and user administration functions are included here and form the foundation from which the add on modules expand. This module provides for site search capabilities, complete page layout tools, text and image upload capabilities, administrative user management, and includes the foundation database system. All of the add-on modules integrate fully with this module.

The template based system for interface management is also handled through this module. The Core Module includes a library function for uploading new modules, adding them into the navigation scheme, and selecting which module is used for what level of navigation. See the Layout Design section for details on how the template system works. We at Arpeggio pride ourselves on the ease of use of our template based content and document management system. Usability is key to a successful web site, and our templates are designed with the user in mind.

The above illustration shows how the category manager effects general end user navigation for the site. As you can see the menu is a multi-level drop down navigation system. In the Category Manager section of this site, you can see how the category structure effects the end user navigation.

To the left is an example of an administrative control panel menu, illustrating some of the Core Module controls. This menu happens to come from the arpeggioweb.com site itself. Other sites, depending upon the installed modules, will have different menus.

As can be seen from this menu, the standard Core Module features are included: Category Manager, Content Manager, Template Manager, Upload Manager, Site Tracker, and others. Additional Core Module features include the User Manager, and certain aspects of each optional module.
